DERMA E Skincare
The products discussed in the post were gifted by DERMA E. As always, all opinions are based on my own personal experience and review.
I try to change up my skincare at least somewhat every few months. I do this for a couple of reasons. First, my skin changes along with the seasons. Does yours do this too? Besides the obvious (dry in the winter, dewy in summer), I feel like I break out more in certain seasons and my skin needs just vary. I also don’t like my skin to get too used to a product so while I have my favorites, I alternate back and forth to prevent my skin from becoming immune to a product (is that a thing?). This has also helped me find my “holy grail” items through trying new brands and products.
I was offered the opportunity to collaborate with DERMA E and was excited to try their skincare items as we dove (actually, face-planted) into spring. DERMA E is dermatologist recommended, proven and effect. Their slogan is “Proven Clean Beauty”, which I love. The below is an honest review of the products I’ve tried for the past few weeks. Should any of this information change, I’ll update the post right away. Keep reading to check out my thoughts:
Vitamin C Cleansing Paste has a gentle exfoliator which always does wonders for my skin. I love the glow that this product gives my skin and I’m impressed by how well my face has adapted to a new cleanser. Total honesty: the scent had to grow on me. I can’t describe it but it stuck with me. Maybe tumeric?
Vitamin C Bright Eyes Hydro Gel Patches are my favorite of the DERMA E products that I’ve tried. They are soothing and refreshing and I really do notice an improvement in the puffy, tiredness of these mama eyes.
Vitamin C Renewing Moisturizing is super lightweight (a plus for me) and supports collagen health to encourage youthful-looking skin (that’s a plus-plus!). I’ve been using this before I apply makeup as well as at nighttime. I’m loving the way my makeup lays over it (almost like a primer). My second fave DERMA E product!
Vitamin C Concentrated Serum seems to be doing a great job. It’s too soon to give actual results or even comment on effectiveness, but I would say that it’s also lightweight and is probably a contributor to the smooth, bright skin I’m loving with DERMA E.
Microdermabrasion Scrub combines dead sea salt and a fine-textured crystal blend to buff away dullness. It’s gentle enough to use regularly and most probably do. My skin is super sensitive so I’ve been using it 2x/week. I’m loving this product though and so far, my skin is handling it great so I could probably step it up. I notice the biggest difference in my skin the day after using this product.
Overall, I’m excited about DERMA E and can see these products remaining in my skincare line-up for spring and summer. I love the sensitivity of each product and am all for that smooth-skin feeling.
