It’s that special time of year…..the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (#nsale). So much gorgeous fall fashion on s a l e before the season even starts! Sweaters, booties, scarves…basically everything I love about Fall fashion and even though it’s hard to get in the fall mindset when we’re right in the middle of summer, it’s even harder not to stock up on pieces you know you’re going to live in in a few months.

Below is a first look at what I picked up today from the sale (all online). I’m not sure I’m keeping all of it but we’ll see how it fits. Further down is a collection of my wishlist items. I might be going back for some (or all) of these pieces. Eek! Sale time is like holiday time! Great for my closet…bad for my wallet….Take all my money Nordstrom.

what I got

1 & 4. These relaxed fit tees that go with everything. And can be dressed up or down.
2. Cold shoulder sweatshirt. If I can feel cute and still be in a sweatshirt, it’s a yes for me.
3. Baggy tee with pocket. Perfect for layering and a little front tuck.
5. Choker tee in my favorite color. Can’t wait to wear this out with distressed skinnies and booties.
6. Lace-up sweatshirt….because again, cuteness meets comfort. So, yes.
7. Choker cut-out sweatshirt in black. I was immediately drawn to this. It’s effortless!
8. This ribbed cardigan is probably going to get worn daily. It looks comfy and it’s perfect for layering. It comes in 5 other colors.
9. I sized up in this thermal so it can fit baggy and be tucked in. Love the color.
10. Give me all the distressed jeans for fall. Especially when they are under $42!!!

on my wishlist

 

1. This bell-sleeved sweater in white is my top favorite sweater in the sale.
2. Off the shoulder tee with ties…I love the preppy-ness of the thin stripes.
3. This gorgeous cut-out tee. How can I not go back for this??
4. Is a velvet kimono too reminiscent of Hugh Hefner? I don’t care, the color is perfect and velvet is everything.
5. This Free People henley. I passed over it until I saw it on a blogger and it changed my world.
6. Velvet crossbody– comes in black too but I’m loving this color.
7. This bag is a great for everyday. And so classy.
8. Another pretty bell-sleeved top. It’s a little dramatic and I love it.
9. This off the shoulder shirt is another fave. I’m picturing tucked in with shorts or (surprise!) distressed denim.

That’s it so far! This doesn’t even include shoes, kids, or beauty. Although I’m not sure I’ll be purchasing from those departments (although the shoes in this sale are to. die. for. ) I’m going to try to resist going back for my wishlist items but I’m sure I’ll be back for something else.
