Something about the spring weather and nearing the end of grad school has me feeling like a “t-shirt and jeans” kind of girl. Luckily, adorable + fun tees are a thing right now and there are so many options. I found a tee company called Sweetees (@sweetees_ on instagram) and was immediately drawn to several of their mom-worthy designs. This one says “Go Ask your Dad”, which is so me when I’m exhausted or frustrated, or literally just can’t. When all else fails, put it on dad, right?!

The minimalist I’m trying to be loves the sleek design and simplicity of the color (a taupe-ish oatmeal shade) and font. I dressed it up a little bit with a mixed metal necklace, jeweled sandals, and a big tote. Paired it all with some of my favorite AE jeans but before I could leave the house, one of the holes in the jeans completely ripped open and this pair ended up in the trash (still fighting back tears). I put on a darker pair (with no holes) and carried on.

I’m already planning my next order from Sweetees. I’m trying to narrow down my options though because I could seriously buy them all. As a mom, if it’s cute and comfortable, it’s a total win.
