So this happened…my first baby turned 5. And here I am, almost a month later, finally sharing. Because #momlife has turned into #backtoschoollife and I’ve lost all track of time and “free time” (aka blogging time). But here we are…
Hadley requested a horse theme over and over this year. I’d wait a few days and ask her again and she would always say “horse!”. I even Pinterested my little party-planning heart out and showed her all kinds of ideas. She stuck with “horse”. So I felt great about giving her a horse party because I knew she would really love it. We rented a room at our library, which we do ALL the time, because it’s convenient and we love it. I found her dress on super sale from Nicolette’s Couture ($19) and I scored her cowboy boots on Mercari for a great deal ($12?). She had a great day and loved the party.
Still pinching myself that I have a 5 year old, but SO proud of the beautiful, brave, smart, funny, talented, KIND, and sweet girl that she’s becoming. Happy Birthday, Hadley. We love you.
