Holiday Gift Guides for the littles

in holiday, kids  •  November 27, 2019

Even though I can’t wait to celebrate all the Turkey Day fun, I’m already in full Christmas spirit mode and getting. so. excited. I know I’m not alone because I’ve noticed lots of you decorating “early” and checking off shopping lists. Have you started shopping yet? I’m so excited to share these Holiday Gift Guides for the littles. I put ALOT of work into these and there are just a few things I want you to know:

  1. As you can pretty clearly see, these gift guides were created with (my) girls in mind. Although I believe (and promote) that toys don’t necessarily belong to one gender, most of these items would be considered toys for girls. Check them out anyway boy mamas- it might inspire some ideas!
  2. This year I really looked for non-toy items or toys with a focus on learning/skill-building. With 3 girls, we have a TON of stuff (like, running out of room). We mostly have an overload of conventional toys and most of it never gets played with. I looked for unique items that would inspire creativity and would withstand the typical play-for-an-hour-and-then-move-on nonsense we have around here.
  3. Several of these items could go on either age group’s list. I started with my pre-schooler and worked my way to the 3 year old and lastly the baby. Check them out for ideas and let me know if it’s helpful!

A few more things for your Pre-K kiddo that I forgot to include above: this camera, an easy bake oven, a this makeup set (it’s washable!). Another great idea for age toddler and up is Kiwi Co crates. We tried these and loved them. It would be fun to do as a one-time thing or you could do a subscription for a year-round surprise.

Hope you love these ideas. I’m going to get back to my hot cocoa and Christina Milian in Snowglobe, one of my favorites. Happy Holidays!
