in about me  •  March 9, 2017

Just a few weeks ago, I discovered Lipsense, a long-lasting liquid lip color that a friend was selling online. There was a lot of hype about how amazing it was, and I loved the colors, so I gave it a try. I’ll admit, I was a little intimidated at first. In order to maximize the length of wear for Lipsense, you need to apply it in a certain way. First, your lips must be clean and dry, free from any other product. Then, you apply 3 thin coats of the liquid color, each coat in one smooth motion so as not to lift the color from the lips. It’s important to wait about 5-10 seconds between each coat so that the color drys. Lastly, you apply the gloss. The gloss is the most important step because it seals in the color and moisturizes lips. It’s a process, for sure.

But once I got used to the application process, I was hooked. The color really does last. And the gloss! It’s completely healed my lips (hallelujah!). Just before trying Lipsense, I was surveying family and friends about what chapsticks and lip balms they use. Even my high-end brand balms weren’t helping my dry, flaky lips, and I was in pain. But honestly (no, really!), since using Lipsense, my lips have improved so much. They aren’t perfect yet, but they no longer hurt and the dryness is almost undetectable.

So….I signed up as a Lipsense distributor! I originally thought I’d just do it for the discount (because, hello?!? Why pay full price?: but now I’m really going to try to make a thing out of it. If it can help support my shopping habit, why not? It’s fun and the product is something I can truly stand behind.

Not at all posting this to make sales or try to convince anyone. I would recommend Lipsense whether I was a distributor or not. I’m looking forward to having fun with it and if nothing else, just playing dress up with all the colors. My new little business is called Glossarie, a name I love! It represents the glossiness of the product, the wide array of color options, and the benefits Lipsense provides. If you want to check out my group page, click here. No pressure to buy whatsoever, just come and hang out. You will also notice a Glossarie page on the blog menu. This will direct you to the group page as well. If you do join the group, comment and let me know. I’d love to have you there!
